[3.24.2007] NEW ENGINE

MISSION UPDATE: We have a new engine that oscar got.new engine its going to arrive to school on monday 26/2007.this engine is in a great working condition,because i tested on my own. its a murray 6.0 horse power

this engines not going to work because its a gas engine and can only be used for outdoor use...... if we had an electrical engine it would be used for both indoor and outdoor.....in my opinion we should use an electrical engine.....i'll talk to the group on monday(4-2-07)....

THE MISSION: OFF-ROAD WHEELCHAIR

design an off-road wheelchair so that an individual confined to a wheelchair could explore scenery beyond a paved surface. the design team would consider what would be necesary for such a wheelchair and how such a unit could be assembled. the wheelchair would allow an energetic individual to move over a grassy surface with some bumps and a slight incline. A one-quater size prototype could be built and tested with the help of our mentors from wentworth institute of technology,mike fisher and nick peterson.
